About Uniol

Established in 2006, Uniol offers biodiesel with high environmental security and high quality. The fuel has a green house gas emission reduction potential of at least 55 % compared to fossil diesel. Biodiesel may be the solution to one of the most challenging climate gas emission problems, namely emissions from vehicles. These emissions cannot easily be reduced by other renewable sources. 

Uniol’s overall goal is to be leading on quality in the widest sense of the word. For biofuels the biggest challenge is to ensure sustainable feedstock. Uniol advocates strict regulations and requirements on certification and sustainability, both internationally, in the EU and in Norway. Traceability is a key part of such regulatory schemes, as is also the information about the feedstock and its origin.
